What Can You Do?

We have a wide range of volunteer opportunities available across different areas of the club. Some key roles include:

• Coaching: Whether you have experience as a player or not, this highly rewarding role can be suited to anyone with a passion for the game and a willingness to learn all that’s required to be a team coach.

• Team Admin: coordinate training and matches and weekly communications between coaches, players and parents to keep the team running smoothly, allowing coaches and players to concentrate on the the football.

• Fixture Secretary: weekly scheduling of games. This involves communication with opposition fixture secretaries, referees and Larkview team admins to make sure our home and away fixtures all take place and kickoff times and locations are confirmed with all parties.

• Club Children’s Officers (CCO): A person who is responsible for reporting allegations or suspicions of child abuse and welfare issues to the Statutory Authorities. This person will be a resource to anyone in the club who has a child protection/welfare concern.

• Club Behaviour / Disciplinary Officer(BDO): Ensuring players coaches and parents are fully informed on guidelines and rules around matches.

• Event Coordination: Work with the events team to organize club events, tournaments, and community outreach initiatives.

• Marketing & Communications: Assist in promoting the club through social media, event promotion, and other marketing activities to help grow our fan base and reach new audiences.

• Fundraising & Sponsorship: Help raise funds, find sponsors, and promote the club to ensure its financial sustainability and success.

Anyone with a passion for football and a desire to help is welcome to volunteer! Whether you’re a student looking for experience, a working professional with some free time, or a retiree wanting to give back to the community, your skills and enthusiasm will be valued at Larkview Football Club.

2. Get Started: You’ll be assigned to a specific role that aligns with your interests and availability, and we’ll provide any necessary training to ensure you feel confident and ready to help.
