A very hot day in Whelan park this morning.
Larkview 13.2 had an almost full squad, Ted still on the sideline with a broken ankle, Nathan with a last-minute injury were the only two missings. Sam F with a no-show.
Kai and Alex F kindly helped 13.5 who was a bit short this morning in Firhouse.
Sean O'S, came to help.
Larkview started the game full of intent and was quick to take the lead in the first few minutes when Brian hits the post and Adam slots in the rebound.
Larkview was clearly on top until the water break and Adam was unlucky not to find the nets on two occasions where he was left with 1on1 with the GK.
After the water break, Ternure found some gaps and finished the first half well.
Terenure drew level with a well-taken goal, however, the larkview boys upped the tempo, and Jeff, followed by Louis, brought the scoreline to 3-1.
Terenure had a few chances to challenge again but Tola in goals with a muscular challenge on Barra made the result a certainty.

A good win under the belt but a few things to work on!
Well done boys!
