Managers/Coaches to keep themselves up to date with new ideas on coaching and development and be familiar with the Sporting Directors’ programme of games based training.

Encourage each player in terms of self-discipline, good behaviour and punctuality.

Make sure all activities are appropriate to the age, ability and the experience of those taking part.

Be self-critical and not afraid to seek assistance from the Coach network.

Be familiar with Larkview Child Protection Guidelines and link in with the Children’s officer if you have any concerns

Liaise with parents but do not share confidential information with them regarding players other than their own.

Ensure that all players are aware that all forms of bullying will not be tolerated.

Be open positive and encouraging with feedback

Managers/Coaches must always display high standards of behaviour and appearance.

Never use foul or inappropriate language.

Read, and put into practice all club policies and procedures, ask if you feel you need more information or explanation.
