Code of Conduct for Players
You should always:
- Always turn up on time for matches and training.
- Treat all group or team members and your Sports Leaders with respect.
- Act fairly and responsibly at all times, do your best.
- Respect other group or team members.
- Listen to advice given and ask questions if you don’t understand.
- Enjoy playing and training with Larkview FC.
- Respect opponents and be gracious in defeat.
- Abide by the rules as set out by the group or team you are with.
- Support and assist where appropriate with the running of your group.
- Pack your own gear bag and arrive for training and matches with the proper gear and boots, to include water, medication, suncream – it’s your bag so carry it yourself and be responsible for it.
- Let the manager know – as soon as possible – if you are injured or sick.
You should never:
- Cheat or seek to gain an unfair advantage.
- Intimidate, threaten or use violence.
- Use physical contact that is not welcome.
- Shout at, use foul or inappropriate language or argue unreasonably.
- Cause harm to or damage property.
- Bully or threaten online or offline.
- Tell lies, spread or circulate rumours online or offline.
- Take banned substances or consume alcohol or recreational drugs.
